This is a special wine. When first bottled it was admittedly too high in acidity. Extended bottle aging has produced a stunningly rich yet lithe experience. The wine has mellowed and the mouth feel has become broad and viscous balancing the core fruit and linear acidity that makes this wine so elegant. At once clean yet complex, showing pear and persimmon initially, these flavors give way to more tropical fruits with exposure in the glass.

A pleasingly viscous mouth-feel with hints of strawberry and rhubarb balanced with spice and notes of unbaked bread make this rosé perfect for grilling in the always fleeting NW sun.

Into the void Columbia VALLEY 2013

Wrought from the venerable Conner Lee Vineyard in Columbia Valley and the graceful Two Blondes Vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA, this blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is an outstanding value. Deep purple in the glass, the initial aromatic impression is of dark cherry fruit framed by herb and cigar box.

Hallowed Ground Yakima VALLEY 2012

Highlights of raspberry, cherry and violet framed by dried herb dominate the nose of this single vineyard blend. In the glass the Cabernet Franc is well balanced with blue and blackberry flavors of the supporting varietals. Well integrated, gentle yet solid tannins and subtle oak mingle with this persistent core of fruit to drive a mouthwatering and intense finish.

Mortal Remains YAKIMA VALLEY 2012

A mixed berry compote of red and black fruits with layers of cobbler and fresh ground coffee on the nose defines this blend. Bright and alive with an intense core of fruit, the depth of Two Blondes Vineyard in the '12 vintage is the star of the show here. Dark cherry-blackberry flavors, gentle tannins and a juicy finish make this wine great with well-seasoned pork and smoked meats.

Dark and brooding yet juicy and pleasurable, the strength and depth of Conner Lee Vineyard Merlot combines with the intense fruit of Sheridan Vineyard Cabernet in this inspired blend. Huge blue and blackberry flavors with a solid backbone of smooth tannin balance the seamless and broad core of fruit. 70% new French oak brings notes of pie crust and baking spice that rounds off this fabulous expression of Washington State Merlot.
